SPOILER-Y REVIEW

This was awesome!! My first time playing a horror, action-packed VN and it delivers! Honestly when MC shared his story at the beginning and mentioned how he got rid of the girl's doppelganger, my overthinking-mind thought "what if he didn't and it's the doppelganger that survives?" So I was SO happy when the story turned out to be that way!! I personally love canon "bad endings" where the villain wins XD Or maybe it's not the end because it technically didn't say that the MC and the girl died? :D

Anyway, everything else is also gorgeous. I love the art and the little animations, really added a nice touch to it :) Good work you two!!

Thanks for leaving a comment! Well, the ending is open to interpretation, anything can happen to the MC and the girl :D thanks for playing our game! ^^

(Copied from my Spooktober jam review to help this game with Itch.io's algorithm!)

This was a fun and creepy little story that reminds me of playground/school rumors! Love the character designs here, your artist has a very good grasp of form and anatomy, and I loved the varied poses with your characters.

Thanks for making this!

My face when I reached the climax OMG I love this! The use of dialogue bubbles in addition to the regular text box is genius and I can't think of a better choice for this.

The sprites and the CGs are gorgeous; the blinking sprite is really nice! I was a bit jumpscared during the first encounter in the bathroom lol. I also think the BGM choices are great and they really set up the atmosphere <3

I wish we'd get to know more about their names, though. The girl is so adorable too; I just want to give her a headpat :"( Is there going to be any sequel/alternate spin off for this story? Cause I'd def wanna read more about them--and about the whole urban legend (?). Thanks for sharing this!!

Aaaaa thank you for the long comment!! We'll give the girl a headpat for you ^^ no continuation plans for now, but we'll talk about it! And thank YOU for playing!! :D we appreciate it!

This was a very cool game! Loved the artwork and story, and the ending was so great. I wish we got to know the characters’ names, but not knowing also gives the story a cool sort of urban legend-y feel too :]

We did plan to make the characters nameable but we decided against it in the end, thank you for playing the game! ^^

Great game! I love the artwork, especially the mirror encounter. The black eyes of our doppelgangers really creates a nice creepy effect; I was definitely feeling mistrustful whenever our friend closed her eyes.

It was a lot of fun going through the game being able to vaguely predict what will happen next, based on our story from the start of the game. I loved the ending.

You did a great job on this game for Spooktober!

Glad you like it! Thanks a lot for playing and making a playthrough! :D

I knew what I was getting in too as soon as I saw the screenshots. And it did *not* dissapoint!

The art is of superb quality, felt like truly watching one of those horror animes. As for the story, that was a *great* twist at the end, avoiding getting into detail to avoid spoiling lol But really liked it, it lures you into a sense of knowing what will happen... until it doesn't ;)

Very well ambientated with the music, and nice way to get around with the backgrounds too!!

Overall a great horror novel!!!

Played the game just a bit ago I thought it was well done. Character designs were attractive and the music in the parts where the intensity rises were kind of a bop. I thought the ending had a nice twist, I knew something was gonna happen but I couldn't say for certain until we got near the end.

My original theory was wrong so my only question is how did he actually end up there or...does the universe just hate him and was all like "Karma bitch Hah!"

Thank you for playing the game! We really appreciate it.
